If you selling the car a local cheap paint shop can probley do it for 600 or so. If you keep your car, just get the whole car panted for a 1250 if you do the prep.

He means only the wheel wells.

It definately won't cost you that much. It is a pretty low profile area anyway, so you could get away with a quickie job yourself. Do it your self and it will cost you around $50-75 for supplies and paint, and a good couple of hours in the garage.

Now it you are considering buying this car make the owner show you the trouble areas. Mainly the floor pans, but door bottoms, fender lips, subframe. Bring a jack and get under there.

What is it?

yeah, i'll make sure to ask him if there is any other rust or other problems - and as a matter of fact i just may be getting it either today or tomorrow (trying to get my bro to spot me half the money until I sell my Avenger). It's a 1990 Camaro RS, new 350 bored .030 over, rebuilt 700 R4 trans, 2000 stall torque converter, stage 2 shift kit and only 3500 OBO

I fixed my own rust around the wheel wells along the fender. I just sanded it down to the metal, masked everything off and applied a few coats of spray primer. Wet sanded the primer smooth, then used a can of Duplicolor auto spray and did 2-3 coats of that, wetsanding between each coat. Came out looking MUCH better, almost perfect. And its a hell of a lot cheaper than getting it done. Good luck.
