under the hood
Can some of you post pictures from under the hood. Looking for ideas to improve the way my 82 Z28 looks in that area. Currently looks like a pack of rats lived in it.

The trick I used for both is Simple Green on the motor, and Eagle One Tire Wet on the headlight pockets and hoses. Anything black plastic/rubber with shine and be glossy when you apply the Eagle One, it also seems to keep the dust down as well.

I can't find the picture I took after I cleaned up the coolant overflow and washer fluid tanks, but, I used Bleach and water and that cut down alot of the stains, then, I used a wire bottle brush to clean out the hard stains.
Worked great!-Roshambo

Hey Les,

Ken, I'm sure you're going to catch with no problem. Make sure you post some pics when you get it all back together. I can't wait to see how good it's going to look. As far as the latch panel cover goes, it was fabbed at J & B Microfinish in Pontiac, Il. There's a link to their site on my web page if you want to take a look at some of their work. I'm sure they don't have a template for it since I just took my car down to him and left it. They did the latch panel cover, radiator hold down and a fan mount for me so I could get my aftermarket fan hooked up to the BeCool radiator.

cvpde37,
Looking good as always man. I'm going to try and catch you within the next year or so. Trying to learn how to polish my own stuff (professional way) and talked to that shop you had alot of your stuff chromed at. Looks great though, wish I could do it.
