Buffing

I started to sand my TPI setup a couple weeks ago and ordered some materials to buff it. I got buffing wheels and compounds, but I need the thing the buffing wheel gets connected to, to work with a drill. Does anybody know the name of that thing? Is it called a shank? I have a 4-inch wheel, what size thing would I need to attach it to a drill.

It is called an " arbor " . The size depends on the opening in the disk your pad mounts to
