for a guy who wont take a sticker within 15 feet of his car, count me in!! thats a sweet idea, especially the member names. could do the lay out like www.thirdgen.org on the top of the frame and the membername at the bottom. i bet it would get other 3rdgen owners on the board too.

I would take at least one of everything so far. I would have to get at least 2 beer mugs though cause I hate to drink my homemade beer alone . I like the idea of the plate frame that we can put our SN's on, but I would put the stickers on the tool box instead of the car.

Homemade beer huh? Sounds pretty sweet. I have been putting my stickers that I get from my summit orders on the side of my computer monitor. I figure if the rice boys can put them on and add 10HP I might be able to get a few MHz out of them too

Maybe I will start doing that with my stickers at work cause my computer is butt slow. I really do think that all of the ideas for plate frames and beer mugs and stuff are great and worth the effort for the pride of the THIRDGEN.ORG!

I think windshield visor strips saying Thirdgen.org in some sweet style of writing would be cool, and in different colors too to match our cars would be nice,or is that too *****?,click on the link to my car and look at the front windshield to see my lettering strip,i think thirdgen.org strips like that would be really cool and cheap to make.

I like the idea of a sticker for the windshield. It doesn't have to be made specifically for the windshield though. Something with the letters in the same style as the liscense plate frames that could be put on top of the windshield or on a rear hatch glass. It needs to be large enough to read but not too large and no crazy letters that would be unreadable from any distance.

I'll buy one or more of anything made, and I especially like the license plate frame idea, that should be made if nothing else.

They would probably not be able to make profit off of merchandise like that to stay thirdgen.ORG but this shouldn't be that big of problem, I mean it would be major advertisement. Or someone outside the site could sell them maybe (fake site).

Count me in for a frame and a shirt 2.
If some stuff does get made the shirts need to go up to XXL at least

how about floor mats?

Maybe thirdgen.org should come up with a logo so the sticker didn't have to say thirdgen.org, but you could still tell who are our brethren thirdgenners on the board when driving by? Maybe someone who is artisic(or has photoshop) could put something together. Just an idea. Either way, count me in!

I didn't read the whole topic since it's so long. How about the thirdgen.org license plate with your screen name on it? Of course, that would cost extra.. (unless it's already set in stone)

i would buy almost anything that had thirdgen.org on it.. You guys should go out on your own and find a place that makes them. Usually theres a little stand in your local mall or something. They make the ones you see on minivans " this is my grandpa drive safe" type of stuff. It may look ugly but hey its a start.

Why would we want to put something ugly on our cars just to advertise? There are a TON of good idea here and I know I am not the only one who is looking for something good looking, high quality, and promoting the site. Sorry dude but maybe you should have taken the time to read the whole thread(I know its long but you will hear all the ideas)

C'mon Dirk, hook it up so we can all promote this site, get cool stuff, and make you some money, how can you lose?,i am sure alot of people would mail you the money and when you got a group purchase of say 50 shirts then you could go have them made up and ship them out,if you made $5 a shirt which i am sure you would then thats $250 in the pocket, you wouldn't be getting rich but it would be worth your while and also promote the site,i bet in the first year you would walk away with a grand or 2 profit if not more, something to consider i guess.

Just tryin 2 keep this post up at the top of the board. I really would like to get a license plate frame though. Also a mouse pad or keychain.

I CAN MAKE THE STICKERS!!!!!

my sister just bought a decal cutter, were already talking about small stickers that say thirdgen.org with a pontiac and chevy symbol on it (like the one on the first page of this site). She can make them in just about any size you want, and in any color, as long as it's white, red silver or black. prices are $2 plus shipping for a small one, and $10 plus shipping for a window banner. i already made a banner for myself, there is some crappy pics of it HERE

As long as we can get enough DEFINATE interest on it, and the Admins. dont have a problem with it, we are gonna do it.

Anyone who DEFINATELY wants one, email me, and if we get enough (like 10-15 people) i'll email the admins, and see if we can get this rolling.
