Paint Job Scheme

Ok, how would this look. When I'm ready to get a paint job this is what I want. I want the whole car to be a deep hunter green or a few shades of dark green give it that color changing look. Then I will be getting the SS hood, I'll have it painted (or do it myself) flat or satin black, then maybe I'll have the spoiler painted to match the hood. For those who know this was the old Mopar paint scheme but Ive always liked that. I wanted to try it on my car, just thought I'd get some opinions first.

I like the primary color choice, and think it'll look good. I don't know about the black hood and spoiler part. While black would be a good color for the accents, I think having a dark green(s) car with JUST a black spoiler and hood wouldn't look right IMO. Maybe just paint a small portion of the SS hood black? I'm notta camaro guy, but the SS hood has some sorta intake right? how bout just in front of that?

Just my opinion

PS-Def stick w/ the dark green if you like

Actually, I was thinking about that too. If not the entire hood, maybe just the scoop or right in front of it. The only reason I'd do this is just to have something different, but I'm definitely going with green.

Check out my car pics in my rides section. Dark green with the a 79'Z28 scoop. The insert of the scoop is painted gloss black to match the headlight area and the door locks and handles. I love the color scheme. I just wrecked it so I need to go with a new hood. I think a ss hood is going to be it.

Hey, thanks. You have a nice looking car there. Yeah, I think I will just coat the hood with a nice black primer, that way, if I don't like it it will already be prepped for painting.
