How would black firebird crosslace wheels look on a camaro?

Has anyone done this? Does this look ugly? I think those wheels look really good!

I've seen it, and I would do it. I think they look nicer than the IROC wheels, if they're nice and the black paint is good. It's sweet looking, and light.

My friend's dad has a camaro with the black T/A cross-laced wheels. It looks pretty good.

There were 2 prototype 92 camaros that had these wheels on them. They were the, I believe, the LT1 equipped 6-speed prototypes that GM had visioned in putting these drivetrains in 602 1992 z28's.

There is some a site somewhere that talks abouts these prototypes. I believe there is still one in existance, and it is a bright yellow color now.

Next to the Iroc wheels, those are the second ones I would consider having as a second set for my z.

They really make the camaro look meaner with those wheels!!!

Hope these helps.

Actually those prototype camaros have a modified TPI system and an L98. They also used the ZF6 6-speed. The car was a B4C wiht those added to it and the heritage stripes but the stripes were the only things that got produced.

Well, I've got a set on my 85 SC, they look pretty good on cars that are either gray, dark gray, or black. I have a set of 89 IROC's and the black GTA's, most folks prefer the Black GTA wheels for racing since they are among the lightest 16x8" wheels. Less unsprung weight to get going.

Also, about the 2 prototypes, they were white with black heritage stripes... and the GTA crosslace wheels...
Those cars were AWESOME!
