anyone have a front-hinged hood? pics?

When I get a glass hood, I want to put the hinges on the front so that it opens like a corvette hood. Has anyone done this and can you post pictures? I think I'd use pins on the back to hold it on.

Mike, just replace the hood shocks. 20 Canadian bucks for me, here. So if your in Edendale thats about 2 bucks american. Stupid dollar!!!
