I'm interested in painting my 85-87 IROC rims but i need some suggestions on paint. What are some good silver paints? Does anyone have pictures? What do you think about Gun metal grey (Z06 style) and painting my calipers red?? i've polished my drivers side rims but it's just not working out. they easily tarnish and i dont like how polishing the entire surface of the rim sort of takes away some of the depth of the rim. My dad is a professional painter so im not going to be using spray cans or anything.. . What do you guys think?

Paint it whatever color floats your boat...who cares what other ppl think. If your dad is a professional painter then he should already know what paint to use. Also, he probably already knows that he has to use hi-temp paint on the calipers since they get quite warm. Good luck with your project!
