Too paint or not to paint?

I have a bright blue 86 IROC that was stolen and the interior was stripped and all the wiring harness were cut (interior and in engine). I owned this car since new, but it is not worth restoring. So I just purchased a white 86 IROC with only 7500 miles. I do not like the white color. Should I have the car painted the bright blue or black. The only reson I hesitate is the fear of lowering the value of the car. What is your opion. Also I am parting out my first IROC, I had purchased a new interior, including seats. Email me at av8trs@ev1.net if you need something.

Car: '10 Subaru Forester

The question you should be asking yourself is: "am I ever going to sell this car as a collector's piece?" If no then there is no point in even debating... I think you should keep the trademark IROC badging in all the original areas... along with stripes along the side and the such. My suggestion would be black... it's an IROC color and like everybody else says, black IROC's are badass.
