Rear window louvers for my camaro

Hey guys,

Through the past years I gathered lots of info here for my '88 camaro all the way over the pond in Belgium.

Now I'm stuck on something I can't seem to find, eventhough I searched for hours. It's about rear window louvers!

As you can see on the picture, I have a '92 wrap around Firebird spoiler on my '88 camaro... (I know that's something 'not done' but I'm gonna leave it like this. I am getting rid of that ugly hood first, IROC hood is being painted right now.)

I'm planning on shipping some louvers over but many websites (jegs, andysautosport, astra hammond, sfxperformance, ...) show the same model picture for their parts....

This way I can't see what would fit. SO could some of you guys maybe put some pictures on here of your '90-'92 Firebird WITH rear window louvers and the wrap around spoiler and possibly tell me what partnumber it has?
Other car pictures with this type of spoiler & louvers also welcome.

I know, lot's to ask but would be very appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

BTW: when my 1988 Trans Am GTA 5.7L V8 with wrap around factory spoiler is done, louvers will go on that one. That's the main reason why I want them to fit a wrap around spoiler. I know they are 2 different spoilers but if the louvers fit the '92 wrap around spoiler, it will fit the '88 wrap around spoiler too I hope?

Re: Rear window louvers for my camaro

It was a frosty night but I've got two pictures now to make my problem more clear..
I've understood bij now that this is the Aerowing II spoiler available on the 91/91 birds.

Now I'm wondering, is there an option to combine this spoiler with rear window louvers?
I've searched and found lot's of info/pictures on all kinds of louvers on camaro's and birds but my question remains unanswered.

Could anyone tell me if there was a louver factory option for models with this spoiler?

Re: Rear window louvers for my camaro

I've driven both styles of louvers. I couldn't stand either style. I suggest you un-bolt the wing while trying the louvers, then if you want both you may need to trim the louvers to clear the wing.

Re: Rear window louvers for my camaro

Thanks for the reply! Good suggestion! But I decided to not try this as I'm not a big fan of trimming and cutting things. It would probably work though.

The thing is, I bought this camaro from someone who built it up from scraps and made some exterior and interior changes to his taste, which I personally don't like. Over 4 years I did some changes already but now I've got my I-ROC hood coming up and I would really like to get rid of the spoiler too. So I bought a new rear window and a ducktail spoiler.

I'm probably going to get louvers after I've had the parts and car painted.

But thanks!
