gonna repaint car next year ?s

hey guys gonna repaint my car next year by myself, gonna do the 2 stage radar blue, what spray gun do you guys recommend and any tips, also when can you wet sand the basecoat? do you have to wait a few days or weeks? thanks guys

Any spray gun designed for metallic paint. I used one that wasn't designed for it and it still came out OK for me.

Give it at least a day to wetsand, the more time you give it the more cured it will be and the less likely you are to mess it up.

wow some one actually likes my color? thats the same color Ive been telling for people that want blue, to get forever. Put a black pearl coat on that and ugh. it will be awesome

did you paint your's radar blue? if so post a pic, if i put black pearl in it, what will it be?

thats the color I had my 79 Z painted, It went from that bright blue, to a black at certain angles, it was sweet. Then I had silver stripes on it to. You'll be VERY pleased with the color w/ or w/o the pearl coat. I wish I ahd some pics to show ya, but I dont have ANY of it kidna makes me sad lol. Sorry.

Somebody has to post a pic of that color. I've been trying to find a Blue/Black color for a long time. I posted under "Help me find color of IROC in SC..." but I got no names or numbers. I did find a Prosche with the color Ocean Blue Metallic that looked similar. I want silver stripes too! Can you post a pic of your '79?
