plasti dip'd 16" RS wheels

Car: 1991 B4C Camaro RS
Engine: 370 lsx ls3 heads victor jr w/carb
Transmission: TH400 w/brake coan 8"4500-4800 stal
Axle/Gears: Moser 9" locker w/ 4.11's
plasti dip'd 16" RS wheels

Bored this weekend 3 cans of black plastidip, 4 wheels. Left wheels on car. No masking. One thin coat, 3 heavy coats. Took 1 hour. Speed up drying time by using my kerosene heater between coats.

Thanks, I will get some pics when I get it out soon. I sprayed the whole wheel first looked bad. Then peeled away the lip

Looks good. You do any kind of prep on the wheels first? Like strip the clear coat or anything?

only thing i did was wipe with glass cleaner. stuff is very forgiving, easy to work with
