Trim Restorer on Dash Pad?

All the trim restorer products say "Exterior Trim" on them, but say nothing of NOT using it on the interior. My dash pad is in great shape but has a few small faded spots on it that armorall and such do nothing for. I have a bottle of the Turtle Wax Trim Restorer... has anyone ever tried it on something like the dash pad or have an idea why maybe I shouldn't try it?

Thanks
Brian

Kind of a crazy, out there idea, but have you considered spraying it with plastidip? It might be worth a try if it's in bad shape. If it's just a little faded or something you probably wont want to do that...

Re: Trim Restorer on Dash Pad?

What products have you tried??? I have had excellent results from Meguiars Interior products. They make the dash pad shine and in the last 10 years I've owned the car( not including the other 12 other people who may have neglected it ) it is very nice except where originally cracked when bought and where my friend over tightened a bolt even though I told him not to. Keep using it until it is "hydrated". I restored a dashpad that kept going dull after using the meguiars interior detailing product but eventually it "rehydrated" sort to speak.

I used "Back to Black" for exterior trim on my interior panels.

Seemed to work very well.
