Re: Deciding on wheels for the Bird

The 17 inch snowflakes you listed look fantastic on birds... Since yours is a formula, I think the Ronals would look incredible also. Cant really go wrong with those. And I even hate the 20 slots that you have on yours, but when they're that clean even they look really nice on birds. Look terrible on everything else. But every time I see a nice clean set of them they really make the cars look nice. You've got a beautiful car. I've always been a sucker for formulas...

Im not a fan of the OEM honeycomb wheels, though. They really need a serious drop to look good. They almost look like 15's to me. Theyre very classy wheels, but Im not a fan. I think they look better on Grand Nationals or something.

Re: Deciding on wheels for the Bird

These Torq Thrust II's might end up going on the bird because after adding corvette brakes to the Camaro I'm having some clearance problems :/
I think they will look alright but I'd still like others opinions

Re: Deciding on wheels for the Bird

Honestly, honeycombs look out of place on a third gen - even though some late 80's ones (firebirds) came on 15" ones.

As mentioned before, the availability of 245-50-16 tires is scarce at best - so steer clear of wheels that use them for inevitably you will have a serious issue,
