I personally liked the gloss black better, but I know I'm not with the "in-crowd" that digs the road warrior look....and you definitely have that going on...it's a real nice ride nonetheless!! Great job with it!

Thanks guys, I wanted to remove the side moldings but the drivers side has some rust underneath so I left them on.

Re: Went out and took some pics
Your car is a little busy, but when totally flat-blacked out like that it tones it down and makes it all work REALLY well I think. I think you're on to something there.
I kept thinking about trying to wrap mine, but I figured it would be a nightmare to try to wrap a car like this. Things like the ground fx scoops and the bumper cover seem pretty frustrating. But maybe it's not as bad as it seems?
Also whats the story with that road being blocked off like that? That's pretty weird.

Not a fan of the FLAT look, but yours does look NASTY. How did you get the GAS DOOR to look like a factory item, and how did you attach it? Any mods to do to it and where did you buy it and how much?

Re: Went out and took some pics
It's attached with two part epoxy. The gas door is from a Bullitt Mustang and I paid about $80 on ebay. Only mod I had to do was trim back the factory plastic filler neck a little and shaved a few of the mounting bolts from the mustang door since you cant really use those on the car.

Wow thats a wrap? You did a great job! Not a fan of the spoiler or hood but your car looks really nice in that flat black wrap. It must have taken a long time to get it perfect like that.

Re: Went out and took some pics
Either way still very cool. And I sure u get a lot of crap about that wing lol. I've been looking for something super low and adjustable like that. But I didn't wanna spend the money before knowing what it looks like. I love it. I do a lot of highway driving so I think it'll save money. Plus I want to get into autox so I think it will prove useful there as well. Has that roof spoiler shown any gains?

SO GLAD I found this. I have been on the fence about wrapping my 87 Camaro. The paint is faded and sun damaged from it sitting for 10 years when I bought it. After a lot of TLC it runs great and I love it. The paint is terrible though.
I haven't been able to find too many pictures of a matte black Camaro. Yours is BEAUTIFUL. I'm definitely going to wrap my car. It'll look good and it'll let me save up for a new paint job.
Any advice? What I need? Hardest places? Easiest places?

Re: Went out and took some pics
is it me or does the hood not match the rest of the body (color-wise, I mean)? and is it functional?
love the gas cap.
just a thought, the way the car is Mad Max Murdered Out like that, i'm thinking that the factory-style louvers for the back glass would be somehow "tougher" or "meaner" looking.

Re: Went out and took some pics
nice. i'd say the overall look of the car is much improved with that vinyl wrap. looks like a new paint job - and in your case satin > gloss.
seems like it wouldnt be too hard to make that hood functional.

Aaahhhaaa. I never driven a car with nitrous. But that sounds insane! Wish I had all forged internals :-(

some simple rattle can flat black will do wonders for your wiper arms and that screen thingy. like better than new.
