Anyone have 84-88 or 89-90 rims on a 3rd Gen. Do they need spacers? I know some are different sizes. Anyone use just fronts (8.5 I think) all around. Don't post any "why do you want to do that." Just facts. Thanks.

Yeah, they would require spacers to fit.
I think the 84-88 wheels are 16x8's, and the 89-90 wheels are 17x9's. I don't have a clue what the backspacing is, so I'm not sure what size of spacer they would require.
