ok....found a car for parts.....its an 87...says iroc on the doors,z28 on the dash and bumper cover, has an lg4 and it has centerbolt valve covers..

its a five speed car, would this car have a 9 bolt also????..i can get it for a decent price

In 1987, the 9-bolt Borg Warner rear axle assembly was used with only two drivetrain combinations:

1) 305 TPI, 5-speed and RPO G92. This combination resulted in a 3.45 axle ratio.

2) 350 TPI, automatic (no G92 available with the 350). This drivetrain gets you 3.27 gears.

These facts are true only for 1987.
