I do, there was one in this thread, but the side shot is showing a red X on my computer so the link must have broken:

Yeah, I'm thinking the 18s are too big. I love the regular WS6 wheels, but the other 2 cars on this site with the same color combo have those.

That, and tires are cheaper.

Re: Pics of when you brought it home

Brought it home on 2-7-2009. Caught a 45min flight from Los Angeles to San Jose with my father. Drove it back home. Got the first "thumbs up" on the way back and got flashed by some chicks in an SUV. It was a great drive.

Re: Pics of when you brought it home

I fell in love with a 1986 IROC when I test drove one new.i was 26 and broke as hades, but I thought ...one day. fast forward to 2009 when I found my car in a barn where it had been since 91.a fully loaded 86 IROC TPI and all! I had to move 63 round bales of hay,two tractors and a combine to get her out and on the roll back.

Re: Pics of when you brought it home

Heres some pics of the cars Ive had. First was a 85 I bought in 08 from a lawyer which was the worst mistake ever as the thing looked mint but a complete rust bucket

Name: 100_0931.jpg
Views: 86
Size: 141.2 KB

Next is my 89. Got it as a roller on a dolly car but is solid

Name: 003-9.jpg
Views: 72
Size: 70.3 KB

Now im moving onto a 86 Z28 as I want a car thats all done by me including the paint as if you havnt noticed all of them have been red and im really not a fan of red

It looks like a basket case but its the most solid 3rdgen Ive ever seen

The night I picked up my '88 Formula 350. Engine, trans, and various parts in the bed of the truck. Not bad for $1500

Her names Monica. She was 2 grand and had 161k miles on her. A year later she still runs great, but is no longer as pretty following an accident.

Re: Pics of when you brought it home

Day I traded for her. She still looks the same except the interior. Going through and fixing everything to 100% then worrying about cosmetics.

At the point of this picture she didn't run due to fuel pump, had bad valve seals, leaking vss, and a batch of other things.

Those wheels really set your car apart. It's hard to find 1985-1987 Z28's like that anymore that are in good shape. GM made a lot of them and you really have to search hard to find one in that kind of shape now.

Thanks! When I went up and bought the car I had all intentions of removing the decals and now after putting the rims on the car and lowering it I totally changed my mind. Even my buddy who took the on photo who doesnt like 3rd gens and has been ragging on me all winter about it fell in love with the stripping.

Definitely hard to find them like you said. There is a twin to mine local (super small town at that) but he has it all gutted and cages for a track car. Was surprised to see it at a car show last week.
