That is so awesome Kern. I hope you thanked him for all of us for designing one kick *** automobile. I wonder if he has ever been on TGO.
Oh I thanked him over and over. Heading back to hang out with him today. If anyone is going to GM nationals, he's having another seminar at 2pm today. The one yesterday was awesome! He's such a nice guy!

The thing about designers is you're at the mercy of everyone else involved in the car's design. You can do an excellent job, but if the auto maker took shortcuts and built an unreliable vehicle, or it's plagued by problems or recalls or a bad engine was installed, or people bash your car as a relic of a bad era, your name is tainted.

Car show rule #6: Don't park next to a car that will get lots of public attention, like a Lambo. Your car might as well be invisible.
u would be surprised , i pissed off a couple vette guys a few years ago at etown , the staff parked me nexto a zl1 zr1 whatever vette, mind u my car is only a v6 with a turbo . i had such a huge crowd around my car the whole day i couldnt get away for 5 mins. really really pissed off the guy who owned that vette and the guy on the other side of me

Re: Post 1 Pic Actually At A Car Show Event
I was really tempted to go to the Carslile show in PA this past weekend, My wife was away, and it would have been just my son and myself. I chose not to, as I am sure we would have been there for 1 hr and my boy would have wanted to leave, he would have seen what he wanted to see. It would have been a 10 hour trip one way to boot...
The fact it rained, makes me glad that I chose not to go... I don't hate getting my car wet, I hate having to clean it up after it does... I get laughed at, I have been seen wiping off my car when it is lightly raining, just to get rid of the dirt from a trip...
Went to my first show today for this year. I just finished installing my SLP headers that I have had since 2001. They were still in the box they were shipped in. The SLP TOTL sounds more aggressive with the headers. I also installed my new Centerforce dual friction clutch and I won 2nd place the 1990's class.
This weekend's car show at a local church to raise school supplies for area children. I took first in the Camaro division. That's my 17 year old's 2000 Ford parked next to me.

Congrats on the win!!!! Such a beautiful blue IROC!!!
Just Curious,How Long Did It Take You To Dowmload That Vid To YouTube,I Try A Vid As Short As 3-4 Minutes And It Takes Hours To Download.
It took about 2 hours to fully upload and process to YouTube. It depends on the format you use. I edit all my videos in GoPro Studio and it seems to go pretty fast. My 1-2 min vids take like 20 mins.
I just watched it. Nice work and A LOT of nice Camaro's!
Yes there were a lot of very nice Camaros there. My dads car is the Lemans Blue 1969 Z/28 RS. It was pretty cool seeing three blue IROCs in a row! I have to edit the video again due to an uploading issue that I didn't see earlier. A new, not messed up version will be back shortly....
OK, NEW VIDEO IS UP!!! Those of you that watched it, please watch it again. Need to build back up to 30 views hahahaha!!!
