Thank you for the nomination!! 89 TTA is #822. Latest show attended was the MCACN where it was honored with judges choice for Pontiac receiving the Emerald award also at the same show it scored a 998 out of a 1000 earning a Gold certification! Other shows to note this year were the Pontiac Nationals and the Trans Am Nationals where it places 1st in both! I take great pride in preserving and taking care of this beauty. I will end the 2015 season with a ultra low 74.8 miles. Hope you enjoy and have a GREAT holiday season and a Happy New Year!!

Good Luck Bill. You better start slacking off on the driving. Those miles are really racking up!

Thank you for the nomination . . although IL weather is not all that great for fresh photos I will post some previous ones . .
My wife and I are honored. We are newbies returning to the Third Gen Camaro. (We have a couple of forth and fifth gens in the garage.) We were very fortunate to acquire this wonderful piece of Camaro history, when a friend of ours told us about the car for sale. Astonishing that nearly 23 years old and virtually untouched. Our boy 'Marco' is very close to 98% original including the exhaust and tires. There are a few details we are working on to correct in hopes to make him complete.
Here he is on his run around wheels and tires, since I did not want to mess up the original wheels and tires:
A little Z03 history . . . Polo Green and Gold stripes was only available on the RS in the Heritage Edition, and there are most likely less than 500 coupes built. Unique to the Polo Green Heritage, is that the lower grille was black.
Polo Green is quite a color to behold in the correct light.
We are the second owners, the car was originally purchased in South Carolina, and then the owner relocated to Iowa. Sadly earlier this year, he no longer could take care of his Camaro and traded it in. We were very lucky to have had a friend let us know about the car and purchased it from the dealer in Iowa. Below are some fresh pics on his factory wheels and tires.
Our car is rolling on just under 17,000 miles and is nearly completely original down to the tires.
Have a few more details to address in the engine bay. At some point the OEM water pump must have died since it and a couple hoses have been replaced.
Unfortunately both of the original double loop seat belt guides got broken at some point, so we are running 2000 neutral loops instead. But the rest of the interior is nearly as it came off the show room floor.
We also do have the window sticker, owners manual, t-top bag and the original GM logo floor mats safely stowed away.
The underside and wheels are cleaning up really well too.
We are excited to be the custodians of this awesome piece of survivor Camaro history. We plan to bring him to quite a few events next year. Thanks for looking!

Re: January 2016 COTM **Voting Thread**
Polo Z03's car is an excellent example of love given to a car. To drive a car and still maintain a clean car that looks brand new underneath and everywhere is a shining example of true love for their car. To choose a model that is passed by by other buyers who follow the herd and buy a performance model shows love for a car. And to keep it in pristine original condition when a lot of people would poo-poo owning a green car... To follow the original owner's lead and to maintain the car to be impeccable. How many of us would worry about how the cars we sold would fare in a new owner's hands?
The heroes in the collector car arena are those who buy cars out of true love for a car. Those who save a car when it could fall into someone's hands who would just abuse and neglect a car. The true heroes are those who pour their hearts into their cars to keep them original.
The love and dedication he's shown this special example of a third gen is the reason you should vote for him for COTM. He makes me proud. To me he's like the guy who keeps his Le Mans original instead of turning it into a GTO clone and follow the other fanatics who lost their way in the true meaning of classic car collecting.
These "black sheep" models are the ones that get my attention at the shows.

Thank you for the larger pics and thank you to the rest of you for the support! It takes a great amount of care and time to preserve probably one of the lowest mileage third gens in existence. The third gen in general is starting to be recognized as a genuine collectible but as a group we need to push for the recognition! Get out show, race, or just drive and enjoy it. Thanks again!!

Beautiful TTA, Impeccably Maintained, can I ask why you lost 2 points on a possible 1000 on a car that has 74 miles on it ?.The car looks better NOW then it did in the showroom.
PS, you got my vote for sure.

The 1st point was deducted for a small scuff mark on the heat shield for the coolant reservoir. Most likely from taking the positive battery terminal off over the years. The 2nd point was deducted for the heat shield. It also has a slight scuff mark on it as well which i believe has been there since it left the factory.

You are welcome for the larger pics. You owe me a drive. j/k
wish they made those TTAs in black. they would have not sat on dealers lots like they did back in the day. Gawsh I feel old. How many of these thirdgens I have test driven or sat in on the dealers lots. Maybe I sat in one that was a members and they never knew. I know no one sat in my 86 TA before I bought it unless they worked at Haydocy Pontiac since I ordered the car from the factory and it was never in the rotation miss that car...
