retro-striping
Im wondering if anyone has tried the hood and fender (sorry not sure what you call it) striping that was common on 1st gen cars like the one in the link below... or have even seen it done. Pics?

Re: retro-striping
Ahhh, the Bumblebee stripe! I love it. ...unfortunately it's not ideal for the shape of our front ends. I'm a Sign guy, graphic artist and vinyl wrap installer, and I've mocked up a zillion different stripes. "most" of the first gen style stripes just don't fit our cars quite right. Doesn't mean they can't look good, but... ...for example, hockey stripes. They don't follow the contours of our car like the first gens. Now, some guys love em on Thirdgens, and think they look great. But technically, they don't follow "our" lines.

I agree 100% I just dont think it would work, but was wondering if it had been tried. Not one single google image appeared when I searched....
