If your hatch leaks....

... and you have something of value in the lower part of the hatch, you might want to take care of it b 4 the weather freezes over.

Went to clean the crap off my wheels earlier & noticed there was no bass comming from the back. Thoght to myself... oh well.. I prob set the metal piece I use on my hatch strut ground across the speaker wires again.

Get home & open the hatch,, nothing out of the ordinary,, everything checks out, amp is on,,, hmm....
Sit back down turn the volume up a little more & hear some faint bass from the back & think.. well.. it is 'working'.. sorta

A little more diagnosing, some coaxing with the cordless drill & the top comes off the box. Whoa...... this can't be good. What follows is what I saw while thinking/chuckling to myself,,, "This is pretty bad... in a somewhat funny kind of way"....

And a few more for you viewing pleasure & amusement*....

I don't know, that ice box of yours could be considered an appearance item I guess

LoL Blue.... yea,, it does [i]appear[/a] that looks baaad huh ? lol

LMAO REV.... that's too damm funny !

Die.. I do sympathise(?sp) with my sub but, I figured,, it sloshed around in water for at least a week b 4 the water froze so, I know it's a trooper & I'm 99% willing to bet it will thaw w/o harm.

My kudo's to Kenwood for making a speaker that can literally withstand the elements.

To make this tech-ish... if you have a leak, even a small leak, do what you can to fix it.

I know alot of you guys have a much, much better car than my 'maro.. please take care of them (3rdgens in general)
