I think those would look real tacky almost anywhere on our cars, even as an under the hood accent. The only place that I can think of that they might have any chance of looking good would be in a subwoofer box. There were some bowtie foglamps on here awhile back that were different, and looked ok imho, but beyond that....

I saw an IROC with bowtie fog lights once. I think it's in the reader's ride section somewhere. It looked extremely cheesy.
