If you want Photoshop 6.0 which I'm sure some do, go to download.com and search for Kazaa or Morpheus and download it. It's a P2P file sharing program that is legal. I wouldn't want to post this here if I thought it was illegal. And for those that think hey, but sharing files is illegal, yes it is, in the US it is for any reason. But the US can't control the internet because the US can't govern the world. Other countries have different laws. For example, Canada it's only illegal to share files if you charge a price. I got Photoshop this way and so can you. One of the reasons I wanted to point this out, is because I was hoping someone that has Desktop Dyno would put that program into their share folder. Evidently people that use kazaa aren't into cars. There are a lot of files on there, right now there are 68k files with 370,000GB worth of stuff. There are other things that you can get but I'll leave that to you if you want to check it out. Also a word of advice there are some people that like to make fake files and when you download it's something else. Here's a hint Photoshop is a big program so look for a file that is around 170MB and that should work. If anyone has any questions, feel free to email or PM me.

 

Its still theft. Not really any different than if someone walked by your Camaro, liked your blackouts, and decided to take them. I personally won't judge you for doing it, but please don't try to justify or try to kid yourself that it isn't piracy.

 

He's right, it's piracy. There's no way around it. If you didn't directly pay for the program or you didn't buy a piece of hardware that came with it because the hardware company bought it... it's piracy. Those programs have all been to court... napster already lost it's battle, a program awhile back called scour lost itself as well. MusicCity which is Kazaa without the adware last I heard was fighting in court. Edonkey and Guntella(sp?) are the only two who won't go to court, but even those are sharing illegal programs.
