Alright I have an 89 Iroc. No matter what ive tried (mothers and other polishes) i can't get the oxidation off the face of the rims. I was wondering if anyone has any tricks or tips they could let me in on.
Another question. Eventually im wanting to get some new wheels and I was wondering what would be the best rims and tires for my car. Im thinking 17 or 18's. Maybe just polish my Iroc 16's. Who knows, tell me what you think, thanks

Not really sure... by the sound of it... it's eating through the clear or something is on there. Mothers is not the almighty cleaner... it works well if the item is bare metal and has a somewhat smooth surface (smoother the better). You could always strip them and begin the polishing process.
As far as 17's, 18's... up to you. Check out the site and see what everyone has. If you like the IROC wheels, they make them in... I believe 17, 18, and 20.

it's not oxidation, it's chunks of missing clearcoat
