need hood clearance
Well, my new motor just about ready to go in, but there's no way I'll get my stock hood closed. There's a victor manifold(not jr.) a nitrous fogger kit, a nitrous plate system, and then of course a carb and air cleaner.I've been thinking about a bug catcher as a last resort, but that's about the only idea I have. Help please, I don't want to be driving around without a hood.
I put a big snorkel on mine and I don't like it that much. I wish I would have gone for a cowl scoop. If you don't want to spend a bunch of money you can buy just the scoop and mount it and smooth it all yourself. If it was just a race car I wouldn't mind as much, but it really limits visibility to the right of the car, and it attracts a lot of attention.

It is a street/strip car, and I thought about a snorkel but that might look like a bit much on street wouldn't it? You don't have a picture do you?And I don't think a 4" cowl would be enough.
