April 2018 COTM **Nomination Thread**

This thread is for April 2018 COTM **Nominations** PLEASE READ AND UNDERSTAND THE COTM NOMINATION RULES BEFORE PROCEEDING TO NOMINATE A MEMBER’S RIDE FOR COTM.
REMEMBER, WE MUST PROTECT THE INTEGRITY OF THE CONTEST SO THAT THE MOST DESERVING MEMBER WINS.

This thread is a Nomination Thread to nominate cars that will compete for this month's Car of the Month honor. The 12 (or less) most popularly nominated cars will be compiled into a *Voting Thread* in a couple of weeks. If you do not nominate a member's car for COTM, you can still second or third (fourth, fifth, so on) someone else's nomination. Cars must have at least a second nomination in order to make the Voting Thread.

  • Do not nominate your own car. Your car must be nominated by another TGO Member.
  • Do not ask your wife, husband, friends, extended family, etc. to register as TGO Members for the purpose of nominating your car.
  • Do not nominate more than one car.
  • Do not use multiple member accounts to nominate your own car or to nominate multiple cars.
  • This is not a picture thread. Post only one (1) good photo of the car you wish to nominate. Do not use unrealistic, overly-processed images.
  • You must post a picture with your nomination. This must be a full-sized picture (or at the very least, a pic or thumb that enlarges into a full-sized picture when you click on it).
  • Correctly identify the user name of the member who you nominate.
  • Correctly identify the year and model/trim of the car you nominate.
  • Do not nominate cars that are not in a high quality, finished state.
  • And if you are nominated, please DO go out and take an abundance of good quality photos of your ride (multiple angles, interior, engine) and make them publicly accessible (for example via a photo album in your public profile or some sort of hyperlink to your photo album).

    *****This Month's Criteria*****

    OPEN SEASON

Any very high quality, finished, stock or modified 1982-92 Camaro or Firebird.

I am honored to be nominated for COTM. As I believe we all love the third gen and put tons of effort into making them all original or what we want them to be. I am Humble to be in amongst tons of awesome cars on this site. I have spent countless hours on mine over several years and spent quite a bit of money to get it to this point. Question is will I be done? I doubt it! It's my passion to make it better and I'm sure like every one on TGO there's always something we can do to make it better. Even if it's long hours cleaning and detailing. IMO the third gen is the best design that GM came out with.

Thanks!
Sleeper Z

Re: April 2018 COTM **Nomination Thread**

Thanks for the nomination of my car , I went years without having a third gen . My last one was a 89 gta back in 09 , having had 5 Irocs and 2 gta's I started looking for a purple haze z28 . I remember one of these purple haze z03 on the showroom floor of a local Chevrolet dealer back in 92 , after missing out one a hardtop 5.7 car last year , I came across this car and it being a 5sp tpi car I wasn't going to let this one slip by . I have always loved these cars and I'm thrilled to be back in one that seems to draw a lot of attention wherever I take .

Thanks Johnny

Re: April 2018 COTM **Nomination Thread**

Correctly identify the user name of the member who you nominate.

Guys,

Please...
This is very important. Correct spelling, spaces where they're supposed to be, capitalization - it's all important. If anything is wrong, it can make it very difficult to track down those members. Also, people tend to want their user name spelled correctly, I find.
