Labor Day Weekend Sunset
Took these last Sunday of my 1988 medium maui blue metallic Trans Am as the sun was going down. The setting sun of Labor Day weekend is also a reminder that here in the northern midwest we only have 2 months max to enjoy our cars before putting them away in hibernation for the winter. Get out and enjoy them while the weathers still nice!
To get the high dynamic range shown these photos I used a tripod and took 5 photos each a different exposure setting. The five photos are then merged together to get the resulting photo. I also used a neutral density filter. Maybe too much for some peoples liking but I was happy with the result.

Thanks for looking!

Love the pictures, sunset photos are the best. Nice TA also.
Re: Labor Day Weekend Sunset
Glad you had the opportunity to take these beautiful sunset pics. You speak of only two months left before the car gets parked, but some of us are looking forward to those months. In Central Florida, we get daily rains in the summer afternoons. You can probably count on one hand the number of days it doesn't rain in the summer. I look forward to the winter months when we can finally drive our cars with the ttops out and the windows down. I need to move back up north to get out of this heat and rain and be able to enjoy the summers like the rest of the country!!!

Thanks Punzak9. So many great cars here with a lot of upgrades. Mine is pretty basic.

Thanks Scott. I do like the mid-western summers and the Autumns with plenty of colors and cool day. I bet you are looking forward to getting the T-tops off and cruising without the AC on.
Appreciate the comments Dave.

Re: Labor Day Weekend Sunset
I think of the 3 pics, the 2nd one nailed the lighting levels. All great pics.
