If I can get to my K.I.T.T. tomorrow i'll take some measurements for you. Also DO NOT remove the latch. Simply bend the tab 90 dgrees so it is out of the way but still useable as a friend of mine removed his and his bonnet/hood wasnt closed properly and at 50 mph it came up. Ruined the hood, windscreen and roof.
Anyone have dimensions/plans/diagrams of their housing for their KITT/Knight Rider scanner light? I'm looking to make my own out of sheet aluminum. Also, do you trim down the hood latch lever?
Sorry, I couldnt find a tape measure. Hopefully these will help.
