well, my exhaust is the loudest set up on a thirdgen that ive heard in my area at least, but ive got exhaust tips and the other guys have it dumped at the rear axle. it was loud with the high flow cat, but once i got rid of the cat it got a little louder, and alot more hollow sounding. i plan on going with a different exhaust since it pops too much upon deceleration when i get on it, but that could be due to tuning and the fact that my carb is crap. I still have my stock piping running all around, i plan on going to three inch after the y pipe once i get headers. im pretty sure the flowmaster 80 series is the loudest exhaust they make for thirdgens.

There's a sound clip of my exhaust in my signature, if you're interested.
