Sold my 3rd gen many years ago. I still have a soft spot for them and hope to get another but these are my other garage/driveway ornaments. Daily is a 2018 Ram 1500 Laramie 4x4 but these are the ones that put a smile on my face when I walk by.
1999 Camaro. Completely new drivetrain, not rebuilt, and just hit 57k miles. Full suspension, 440ci LS, T56 Magnum, Dana S60. 725-750 crank hp. Maybe 1k miles on the build. Ready to hit the dyno and do final adjustments on the tune.
2013 SRT Viper GTS. Stock other than CF spioler and CF air ducts.
Nothing fancy for me. My DD is a 2003 Trailblazer with 216k miles. People are shocked when they hear how many miles it has, lol. It does not show the miles in any way.. The thing runs and drives perfectly, and everything works like it's supposed to....so I just keep piling miles on it. I'd take off across country with it tomorrow

Judging by the looks it is maintained as well as it presents.
I had an 83 Capri 5.0 with the SDOD 4 speed. Are those wheels metric?
The OE TRX wheels were 14in metric. Those are the LMR repop wheels in 16x7. Uses a normal tire plus bigger for 1100 shipped to your door. Ready to mount. Not too bad.
As a bucket list car, I bought this Nissan 370Z fully loaded. I had some difficulty convincing my wife—until she drove it! We took it home the following day. Subaru Forrester is my DD.

Reason: Additional info
Dagwood, I'm a Trailblazer fan here too! Though I regret to say I no longer own my '05 LTZ. I had a lift and bigger tires on mine, but still DD the thing until 200k miles. I sold it for a GMC Sierra, and ultimately my current daily, which is my '14 Silverado. I love full size trucks, but that '05 Trailblazer will hold a special spot in my heart. Longest owned vehicle other than my 89 Iroc. Great car!
Gottta' have a SUV for the junkyard runs !!! My son rolled my first Trailblazer so I found this one with a blown tranny and built it to my taste: 05 LT2,.. Black leather, sunroof, factory touchscreen, BOSE, and a few upgrades too ( AUX mod. EXT front brakes, front / rear drilled & slotted rotors, Aluminum D-shaft, BOSE 'LUX' conversion, roof lights, extra roof racks, aftermarket headlights, clear mirror lenses, SS cluster, Tranny shift kit, resonator delete, ect... ) Got a set of early 03 LTZ wheels for it too - similar to 85-87 IROCs - that I've got almost fully restored, but I'm gonna' have to install those next spring; Don't want to install freshly restored wheels right before a new england winter !
Ive got a pair of W-body Cutlass Supremes that keep the Firebird company in the driveway. All being worked on to some extent from the same massive pile of parts I seem to be able to know where everything goes...for now.
The white one is a 1995 convertible with the DOHC, Shes in a sort of resto project. I dropped the engine/trans/front subframe to fix a heater hose and it snowballed from there. The green and black one is a 1994 and my very first car, it still runs fine but just awaiting the funds to grow to go to the body shop for repair and respray. Years ago a truck backed into the side of it and "totaled" the car but I still drove it for years to save money.
I traded a 2000 Convertible WS6 TA this past weekend. As partial trade, I received this C5, from the 2nd owner of the car, which has 47K miles. It needs some updated wheels, but overall, it is in great shape. This car joins my 91 Formula 350 and my 89 Iroc. The cool thing about the car, when I got it home and popped the hood and it is signed by John Cafaro, who was the designer of the C5.
My high school car that now just collects dust. Only drove it twice this year.
Pickup that used to be my dad's. Had painted in 2004 and stuck in storage. Probably going to have to sell it shortly.
Summer weekend cruiser.
My 2001 Monte Carlo in background that I purchased 1 1/2 years ago due to career change and losing my company vehicle.
My three daily drivers - 99 Blazer (220k), 02 Dakota (230k), and 01 Outback (320k). They may not look like much, but all three are manual and either 4x4 or AWD (and they even have working AC). Sadly the Blazer either spun a bearing or bent a pushrod recently, so it's sidelined (and maybe looking at a V8 swap).
I also just inherited this '69 VW Beetle. Going to restore and EV swap it. Once I finish the Camaro, of course!
Crazy how much can happen in a few months! I sold both the 01 Outback and 99 Blazer and picked up an 05 Outback XT with 149k and MT. The 02 Dakota needs some work, so this is now my daily driver. The turbo makes a huge difference at elevation (we're at ~8500').
The 545 is no slouch, super fun to drive, handles like its on rails. Some say BMW's most complicated car ever built. Many people think they are P.O.S. - but that is because they don't fix them. It packs the N62 4.8L motor, the 1st continuously variable length manifold, the torque never ends from 1 rpm up. Active suspension keeps the car planted. Factory stereo ROCKS!
The M6 packs the S85, a 5.0L V10 BMW built for 5 years. Naturally aspirated, 10 individual throttle bodies, packing 100 HP per cylinder. Engine modeled after F1 race engines, screams at over 8000 RPM. Make sure to use the paddle shifters at WOT, otherwise the center console gear shift will get slammed by your hand. Carbon fiber used on hood to lower center of gravity. Scary fast. Factory speakers DONT ROCK!
But neither are as much fun to drive as the Formula !!

This is my other project car: a '66 Caprice that my father left me when he passed away. It was a bone stocker with whitewalls and hubcaps when I got it. Phase one was a 700R4, Hotchkis suspension, drop spindles & springs and 4-wheel discs. I did Hot Rod Power Tour with it in this configuration a couple years in a row. The low horse big block would barely spin the tires. About this time, I sold my '83 Firebird and used the profits (well, huge loss) to fund phase II, which included an LS swap, new trunk pans, Ridetech air ride, a 59 Impala dash, and a vinyl top delete. It's been apart so long that I bought the Iroc so I'd have something fun to drive until it is completed.
I've been primarily dailying a Yaris recently. A lot cheaper than other cars and less concern about the affect of road salt on it. It does handle some rushed road trips well and can fit an impressive amount on wholesale club store trips. Leisurely returning from a cross country drive
My DD, 03' Silverado. I have owned it since new, My only new vehicle I have ever purchased. 232K and on my second wrap as the FL sun takes it's toll. Still all stock including the exhaust. You would never know this vehicle is 22 yrs old, runs and looks great inside and out.
My new edition, 09' C6 Narrow Body, 3LT, Z51, NPP performance exhaust, 6 speed manual. Just got this in April. It is in excellent shape and everything works and with the LS3 this is the most powerful vehicle I have owned to date. I have always wanted a Vette, 44 yrs now and I really love driving this car.
This pic above is the one the PO sent me the night before I picked up the car.
There's an interesting mix of vehicles in this thread. I've got some interesting ones I can add here too. I won't post everything, there's just too much.
And yes, that dark green Blazer up there is a real ZR2. The fact that I lowered it isn't even the most odd part about it... it's a 5-speed and a factory 2wd. It's basically a 4x4 like the others, but no t-case, front diff or CV shafts.

RPO and sticker on the firewall say ZR2? Hard to believe it's a OE ZR2 with 2WD

Yep, it's a real 2wd ZR2. They were sold in '04 and '05, with the southern market in mind. Mine is an '04 and from GA. It's the strangest thing, it even had the heavy steel skidplates to protect the 4 wheel drive components that aren't there, lol. There is an adapter bracket that mounts the 2wd trans to the 4x4 type crossmember. When I lowered it, I saved a bunch of weight with the loss of the skid plates, the spare tire carrier and the nerf tubes. The front tires are 275 and the rear are 315's. The 4.3 and 5 speed is a little lively with the stock 3.73 gear and the shorter tires. The better front brakes and rear discs haul it down pretty good too. Plus the locker and 8.5" diff make for a pretty good combo. I gotta get it tuned though. Speed limiter is now around 70 mph (actual) or so, lol.

Definitely weird. The metal skid plates were an early option. At the time the composite ones were used. Perhaps they were swapped. Mine is a 05. Also have a 03 that needs a complete restoration

A while back, I stumbled across the '04 dealer training video and it stated steel skid plates.

I just picked this up a couple weeks ago as a daily driver. It’s only an R/T, not a Hellcat, but it has the SRT Brembos, seats and exhaust. I caught on late to the Mopar thing but man Hemis are fun.
I've had a bunch over the years. There are a few that I don't have pictures of on this pc. The blue C6 is the only we currently own. The rest are cars that we've owned over the years and sold.
My first car. 88 300ZX. Got it my junior year in 1993. It was a nice car. It had leather, t-tops and the digital dash(which I thought was the coolest thing). It was an automatic and pretty slow and not what I really wanted. This was the compromise because my parents would not let me get a 3rd gen in high school. I couldn't wait to graduate and get rid of this for an IROC, which I did the summer of 1994. The IROC(no pictures) was a POS compared to the 300ZX though. lol
78 Trans Am that my Dad and I bought as a project. I sold it unfinished when my Dad passed in 2009. I didn't have the heart to finish it without him.
96 Trans Am automatic.
2000 Trans Am 6 speed. My first new car that I bought when I got into the car business.
2001 Firehawk Trans Am automatic.
2002 Sunset Orange Metallic Trans Am WS6, 6 speed. The one I should have kept.
2001 Camaro SS 6 speed.
2010 Camaro 2SS 6 speed. 5th gens are one of my faves. I bought this one when they were still pretty new. It has a few thousand miles on it when I got it. I hated trying to keep it clean though so I sold it and bought the white one. That one was also a 6 speed and it had orange interior. I loved that car and should have kept it longer.
1969 Chevelle SS. 454, TKX 5 speed. Fun car but it was a beating to drive in Texas in the summer. Long tubes, no ac and triple black. It was like driving around in an oven in the summer. Sold it and bought the yellow IROC.
2015 Camaro 1SS 1LE 6 speed. This was a great car. I put over 100k miles on it and it was solid and like new when I sold it.
2023 Camaro LT1 V8, automatic. My wife's previous daily. Great car . Fast and loud with the dual mode exhaust.
2007 C6 Z51 6 speed manual. 34k miles. My wife's current daily driver.
