Notchbacks galore

Just not the OE version, but still. On offerup. I believe this a C&C part. More rare than the c&c t-tops. https://offerup.com/item/detail/8785...camaro&cid=5.9

And pick your part, Anaheim, Ca. https://www.lkqpickyourpart.com/inve...earch=firebird

Re: Notchbacks galore

Style points notwithstanding, I'm curious as to the difference in weight between the hefty glass and steel OEM hatch and the C&C version (first picture).
Not that I'd get the glass hatch, but as a (wannabe) drag racer, I'm always looking to make the car lighter and faster.
The Optic Armor hatch glass is said to save over 40 lbs.

Re: Notchbacks galore

There are a few cars whose factory body style just can't be improved upon, especially by adding some kind of aftermarket rear body panel. The 3rd gen F -body is one of those cars.

Re: Notchbacks galore

I beg to differ, at least it doesn't make it any worse, lookswise. As for the weight i think somewhere in-between 40-60lbs. OE hatch is around 100 lbs.
