You'll get a grinding sound, which wouldn't be good.

Well, if you buy spacers you should be fine. When I bought my car, I was doing the normal inspection. I pulled off the front tires, and sitting there was a spacer. So, you can run the rears on the front no problem.

you have a good friend you could also put it on the boards and trade for the correct fronts but if you get a spacer you can rotate the tires without going to the tire shop.

Here is a pic I took of the spacers right after I got the car. I was actually going to put them on Ebay, but decided against it.

They are about 1/4 inch thick.

You know once I put new tires on my car at discount tires. they put the front tire on the back and the back on the front WTF. So I go to drive away and I get that grinding sound. They tell me I need spacers. Yeah I said so give me some you made the grinding sound happen. They said "we dont do that here" I asked of I can use thire tools, no problem. Inside the rim its labled FRONT and also the other says BACK WTF is you problem I think but dont say. Anyway spacers should solve you issue. You dont want to here that grinding its terrible.

That grinding noise is coming from the outer inside edge of the rim rubbing on the caliper--someone put my rears on my frontend once too.
