I hate my rims

I have those 15" solid gold rims on the IROC. well Ido plan on getting new ones soon. the paint on them is really bad, well not that bad, but heck i just don't like them at all. And I have been taking a few pokes in the ribs over them. I have been thinking about spray painting them black. what do you guys think? does anyone have pics of any car with black rims? I've got a black one with gold pin stripes around it. what do you all think? And If I do will any paint do? this will only be for a few months.....

are yours solid gold or do they have the aluminum face? my roc has the 16's gold/with aluminum face and I wouldn't want them any different, all cleaned and shined they look great and bigger than 16's. I wouldn't go with black cause i personally think its a dirty look, thats only my opinion though.

IROCBandit, they are solid gold. I have those same ugly gold 15" wheels on my '88 IROC too (actually I have my chrome 16s on there temporarily right now). Can't wait to get rid of them for a set of 17" TTIIs. Anything, even Krylon aluminum rattlecan would be better than the gold imho. If your car is black, then go ahead with the black paint. But if it is another color, go with the body color or silver.
