How should I go with the hood?

Ok, I'm gonna paint my car probably towards the end of the summer, but I can't decide what I want to do with my hood. I've got an '87 Z28, it's got the louvers on it. Ok, here are what I was thinking about:

1)Just taking the louvers and repainting them black so they look nice and new.

2)Getting a set of 'Power Blisters' and having them painted the same color as the car. Does anyone know how much these cost?

3)Getting a baseline hood, the kind without louvers or blisters. This would be a sleeper approach. Does anyone have any idea how much a hood like this in good used shape would run?

Ok guys, what do you think? Any opinions or suggestions? I kinda want to do the baseline hood after I saw how that 'California IROC' looks :hail:

I think all three sound good. If you keep the louvers, definitely paint them so they look nice and new. Hood blisters are me personal favorite. I want to get a pair someday. Not sure how much they run though. The sleeper look is also good. If you really want it to look like a sleeper, take off the spoiler too.

Yeah, I been thinking about taking the spoiler off too. Maybe I'll go with blisters. They aren't as flashy as louvers if they are painted the same color as the car, and it's cheaper than getting new hood...

What color are you painting your car? I think white IROCs with black louvres in the hood look so good.
