Need to know the difference in front nose peices

Alright i thought that the 82-84s had the noses that had the square peice in the middle for plates and the 85-92s had the grilles in ther in place of that. I would like to put one with the grill on my 83 so i can get a billet alluminum grill in it and keep that little thing from my 83 nose that goes on the bottom that has the wholes on it that isnt flat like the others. it like that last peice by the ground. is this possible and please explain what the difference is in years and types of noses given. thanks

Whatchu talkin' bout willis?

First I assume you're talking Camaro cause if you're talking Firebird you're completely off the rocker.

Next, on to Camaro nose 101.

from 82-84 you had two distinct noses, the Z28 nose and the SC/Berlinetta nose. Then in 85 they both changed.

From what you're saying about the holes I'm guessing you have an 83 Z28? And you want to swap to a 85-up nose so you can use a grill and you want to keep your lower front spoiler?

the answer is no, it won't work. Not easily anyway. The later front spoilers are thicker, so it'll look like crap or a pieced together Frankenstein.
