89 Trans Am. It's a metallic blue with the silverish gray GFX. I want it to stand out a little more. I'm thinking paint the hood vents to match the GFX and maybe paint the black plastic around the turn signals too. I saw a pic of one like this (don't remember where). I'm also going to remove the ugly front license plate. What do you guys think?

I just want something a little different but not too gawdy.

Go ahead and delete the front plate, but you may want to think twice before painting accents... A local guy painted red accents on his black 98-99 T/A and it looks like complete ***.

I've thought about adding a silverish gray bird on my hood too, but they're really expensive and I'm not sure if it would look good on the stock hood. I could put a medium one in the rear window too, but again, might look cheap.

I have a blue '85 ta.. I'm getting ready to put on the silver hood bird... I usually don't like a lot of custom stuff like that, but it was a factory option... I can't help it, I just love the hood birds.... its only about $120 or something from pheonixgraphix.......
