Well I just like visiting the old bone yard. I dont know which one is cheaper. The bone yard will save you money if you just want lights.... are you taking about the bulb? Any way the problem I have is if I go to the bone yard I will see all this stuff that I want and end up spending more money then I intended.

New front marker lights run 35.00 a piece with no discount.
Side I'm unsure of as I went to clears when redoing my paint.
And as you probably already know, fog lights are 75.00 a piece.
I spent 350.00 at gm when I had my car painted, and I really only got a few emblems and some front lamps and such. That was with GM discount.

Thanks guys!
Just trying to see if there is anything to save on buying them off of eBay, but it seems like they go for about $70 there - so with shipping there isn't anything to gain.
BTW, Im looking for a new set - so the junkyard probably wouldn't do me any good
Nothing wrong with the original ones other than being kinda dull and a little foggy, and when my new headlights arrive I'd like for the those lamps to look clean as well.
Guess I'll put the Fog lights on the want-list as well LOL, but $150 is steep though..

go to www.gmpartsdirect.com and put in the part numbers 5975682 and 5975681.those are for the left and right parking lamp assemblies.it came out to 65 bucks shipped.oh yeah and that is at dealer price,so thats the cheapest youre going to find them brand new from GM.

I orderd some Tuesday, and picked them up yesterday. I put driving lights on my RS. I bought the Z28 grill for $10 used and the driving lights at AutoZone for $20. Yea they're Pilot lights, but they look very close to the 4th gen.
My original turn signal lenses look really old and foggy after I put the driving lights in. The new ones are crystal clear. I can't wait to put them on, as soon as this 20 deg. weather leaves for the year.

has anyone ordered from the gmpartsdirect website and actually recieved their shipment?
91rsrider, how did you find the part # for the lamps........did you look through the site or did you know from purchasing them?
i have a stack of receipts from gm that i had ordered many of my parts over the past year while working on my car. luckily for myself i had some people on the inside, but even with that i would have saved 154.53 if i had purchsed my parts through this website. their list prices are higher than the dealer, but their prices tend to be cheaper wether it's a few cents or like the front rotors i purchased i would have saved over 60 a rotor!
so has anyone actually purchased from them?

I had no problems at all.
I ordered them the evening of 3/22, got an immediate confirmation that the order was registered, then got a shipment notice on 3/26, and the parts today 3/28 - so it was real smooth.
