i just bought a set of 4 16x8 rims off of a 91' Z28, three have red paint on them, and one looks like they tried to sand the paint off, can i polish these with a polishing wheel on my dremel, and then clear coat them? or do i need to have them polished some special way?

There are some variations on what's the best way to do this, but this is certainly a good start.

I'm gonna do a set of 91/92 wheels soon. I'll post pics of them when i can.
