plastic piece in headliner for seatbelt
The tabs that hold this piece up broke off on the passanger side. I got a perfect one at a junk yard. Just wanted some help on how to get the new piece on. I don't mind cutting off the old one, but I would like to keep the new one as nice as possible.
Thanks

check with hawks or year one. they make a replacement for this kind of situation that already has a slit.
give cytting it a try right between the 2 tabs that broke. IIRC thats where the ones i seen that were factory split were cut. BTW, make the cut on the backside on the sail panel side.

i had the same peoblem. What i did was I filed a small slit so the belt could pass. Barely noticeable and fits great!
I glued the ***** back in
OEM replacements have the slits precut
Youd have to unstitch the seatbelt and restitch once you slip the replacement back on, or just get the whole seatbelt setup from the junkyard

looks good! I actually cut mine on the other side (the right part on the pic) but it should hold up with no problems
