$45 a sq. ft. for leather?
I'm making my own leather seats, just wondering the only place I have found that'll work with me and just sell me the leather has a price tag of $45 a sq. ft. is this a good price or not?

that depends on the quality, I paid $700 for a whlole pelt, and it was aircraft grade, feels like butter (can't explain it better)

Better option
Call your local auto upolster and ask for Ultra-Leather. This stuff is cheap as vinyl, $5 yard. Feels like leather, its more consistent patern, does not stain, last longer. The only thing it does not do is smell like leather. They also make Ultra Suede, Bitchin! Both my seats are going to be ultra-suede
