how hard is it to swap the windows in the door, mine are scratched and chipped, and im parthing out my firebird so i thought id give it a shot. also how much would it cost for me to ahve my windsheild removed from my bird and put into my camaro? or would it be cheaper just to get a new one?

 

The glass is easy. You just have to release it from the guides and remove the top seals. You will see it when you remove the door panel. It is not that bad. 10min per side??? As for the windshield they charge about $90 to put one in but taking out might get a little tricky. A few friends used to work at glass shops and didn't like removing good glass.

 

So a firebird windsheild will fit in a camaro then correct?

To answer your question yes they are the same exact glass

 

It cost me $150 to have a brand new windshield installed in my IROC and they came to my house to do it.
