T-Tops

hey guys... i was wondering where i could get weather stripping for the t-tops on my 87 camaro at a reasonable price. also i was looking for abs headliners, the best one i found was from HAWKS, wondering if you guys have seen them anywhere else. and one last question... for those of you with T-Tops do you guys know where i could get the metal that goes on each side of the t-bar, where the t-top sits, mine is really rusted and i definetly need new ones so i was gonna have a machine shop make me up some but if i can buy then that would be great. thanks for all the help guys

I got the kit from Classic Industries. It was around $150 when I got it and honestly, I would really go the route of the the GM kit if you are worried at all about leaks. As far as the T bar, I'm sure I have seen if for sale somewhere. Worst case is going down to your local pic-n-pull and grabbing one.

That metal plate is all one pc. I got a new one from the dealer. Cost about $125. The weather stripping price went up. Classic wants over $200 now I think.

So is the kit that Classic Industries sells a good one? is it the same as what I would get from the dealership? I have a serious leakage problem right now and I want to make sure what ever it is that I get is going to solve that problem.

Also there is a tech article on how to do the repair and some stuff to look for, it seemed pretty helpful.

I replaced the weather stripping around my ttops last year. I got the stripping for both side from the chevy dealer for $180. I had to buy a new t bar too cause mine was all rusted, that cost me $120. I had to relpace the holders on the A pillar and where the door closes too, those costed about $40 a piece. Its not hard to replace it, just make sure you take your time. Mine fit just fine and I dont have any leaks.
