ok guys here goes...my drivers and pass seat has the same problem...when you pull forward on the seat..it will not lock...you have to pull up on the little black handle to release a lock or something correct?...any help would be appreciated..thanks. 1992 z28

 

seat tracks likely need lubrication. to fix, remove the seats from the car and spray with some grease.

 

went to the local chevy dealer and picked up..2 new assemblies for the seats..cost was about 60 for the drivers and 60 for the passenger...gonna throw them on this weekend,,later guys..gary.
