Blisters and 4th Gen Seats!
I got my car back from the shop, and all I can say is
:hail: !! This was done on a regular stock flat hood and the blisters were purchased from Next Generation (Year One). Here's a picture!
Also today I installed 2001 ebony leather seats into my car. They are BEAUTIFUL! They are definately more comfortable then the other seats that were in there. The job wasn't really all that hard at all. I did as most others did with the belt holders, I made a small cut between the two screws where it attaches to the headrests. You can hardly notice it from a distance. The seat belt holder from the 3rd gen back seats were reused on the new ones. They transferred with no problems! I put black electical tape around the posts from the other seats since they were 50/50 split.
Here's one more picture..... Since my family and I were all doing car work/washing today I figured I'd snap a photo of one of my parents cars, lets see if any of you guys can guess the year/make/model.... hehe

I've got the same seats ready to go into my GTA. My red interior is also gone
. Question: The wiring harnesses that go between the seats...how many were there? Hawks forgot to send me mine. I checked the dealer and they want way over $100 dollars for them. Also, how did you wire in the power? Is there a separate 2 wires apart from the 6 wire connector?
Looks great man.

I was gonna say a Tiger. My grandpa has a 63 Sunbeam Alpine that he's owned since new. It's absolutely beautiful, but it's got a blown headgasket
Nice seats too, that almost makes me wish i had gone with leather on mine...

The blisters and seats look awesome. I wanna get blisters on my IROC someday. Are you gonna keep the red carpet? It looks brand new, not faded at all.

I know most of you will agree leather is the way to go, but I think these seats may have gone a little better with the previous interior color. Just my opinion....

:lala: As for the blisters being functional, I didn't go that route right now, but it is definately something in my mind, just not sure how to go about doing it yet..... I've heard some others talk about doing it though. Yeah, I went leather cause I got a good deal, but the 2 color cloth seats are really sharp looking in our cars. Originally, since I have a black/grey interior, I was going to go with those. I figure they look really good in "billsfirebird" with the grey/red, so black/grey would be good. But, then I came across this deal, heard from a freind who heard from a freind, you know
