Hey everyone,
I just ordered the ss hood for my 92 Camaro, and I'm having trouble finding the insert for the hood.

You know, the black grille insert or whatever it may be>

Anyone know where I can buy one of these?

www.rksport.com might have some. If the opening is the same size as a 4th gen it should work.

 

I just called AmericanSportsCar.com, and "bob" told me that I should have one that comes with the hood.

I'm glad they put this kind of info on the website..

Hey I have that same hood from ASCD, and my "SS" hood came with the grille insert. But if you mean can you actually plumb you intake to it, well.....as I've told quite a few of other people, when I'm done with mine I'll let you guys know how to do it...But yes my ASCD SS hood came with a black plastic grille piece....
