Window thingy

The outside window weather striping went and noe the door is full of water. How do you change it and drain the water out.

I think the water should drain out itself. I think there is a small drain hole at the bottom of the door. Make sure it isn't stopped up. As for the weather strippeing, I assume you're talking about the piece on the outside of the window at the bottom. Just take off your inside door panel, and you should see 5 or 6 screws holding it on. All of them are pretty easy to get to except for the one that is behind the black triangle trim piece at the front of the window. You will either have to take this off or loosen it enough to get to that screw.

That's weird. My door had just filled up with water last week too. It's the first time it had done that. I just took the door panel off and used the good old Wet/Dry vac. If you end up replacing that weather stripping would you mind letting me know how much it set you back time and money wise. Thanks a lot and good luck.

IIRC the weather stripping is 30-something a side. Couldn't tell ya how much time cuz my door panels were already off when I replaced them.
