Would it be possible to switch out the shocks on the hood and hatch with linear actuators and have a power hood/hatch set-up?

 

Youd either need one hell of a linear actuator setup, or hydraulics, in my opinon... but I know you can find 100 pound actuators; don't know how much they cost.

 

I think that you could put the pull down assembaly in the hood there is more than enough room that would be cool as hell to. everyone always blows a load over how my hatch is like a trunk on a lexus or something if the hood did it too. HELL YES

 

That is actually a really damm cool idea.

Click the hood too the latch instead of slamming it and watch it 'suck' down in place.. hmmm (..an add-on to the list of crap I'm never going to finish already....? :sillylol: )
