Replace door or door skin

Let me start by admitting my cluelessness in body repair.

I want to restore this car to like new condition.
I have a 1990 RS that has a horribly mangled passenger door. Sideswiped a telephone pole. I have a 1984 Berlinetta that I've been using for parts and the door is an exact fit. The RS has power windows and door locks though and the 1984 is manual. Can I convert the old 1884 door to the 1990 power version? I took off the interior door panel from the 1984 door and there are these wierd fasteners that I can't remove unless I drill them out. That includes the fasteners holding the window in too.

What is a door skin? Can I use the outside skin off the 1984 door or is it something I need to take in to have installed at a body shop? I'm trying to save money and I hate to pay the rates charged in the shops. Most of the work I see is not first rate at the cheaper places either.

The car runs really strong and has the 305/TBI, flowmaster, hyperchip, K&N and 1989 IROC stabilizer bars front and rear.
