It Lives.

Some minor repairs are needed, but hell yes. It Lives.

I'm enclosing new photos (links are below) of the 84.

Don't laugh, too hard.

Anyway, I have an oil leak at the front of the engine, and the heads need valve seals badly.

Otherwise, I'm happy with engine for now, except for running pig rich, and timing still being slightly off. I have to run at least 89 gas, so i'll be runnin 92 to be safe.

The hood needs replaced anyway, as it is rotting away at the front. I hope to replace the factory L69 intake with an edelbrock unit, and dumping the holley this winter, as well as stepping up to a bigger cam, and some head work.

Car has plenty of power, and has held together for 100 miles so far, including a 70mph jaunt down ohio route 11. I've started using over drive now.

anyway, onto the links.

This when I started the body but now almost the whole car is down to bare metal and ready to prime once I get a new passenger side fender and all the Trans Am body equipment, but I'm keeping the base model fender with no air vent things and the hood is the base model style too cause I like the smooth look without those air vents. It will also have either the base model wing or one of those high rise IROC wings.
Trans-Am rims are in the mail already.

Yeah, the hole in the hood looks horrible. The only way I can justify it is if you stick a big blower through there And I don't like the red painted drum brakes. Drum brakes aren't all that impressive.
